Houston Holiday Markets

With the holidays fast approaching, it’s time to tackle your family and friends’ wish lists. Instead of hitting the “add to cart” button, check out these holiday markets around the city for a fun and festive shopping experience.

Midtown Mistletoe Market

Friday, December 6th, 5 pm to 10 pm & Saturday, December 7th, 10 am to 6 pm

The whole family will enjoy the lively market at Midtown Park, which is transformed into a candy cane wonderland with red and white tents and holiday decor. Local vendors are accompanied by a festival-like atmosphere with strolling carolers, holiday hula dancers, and live music (see schedule). Kids can send a letter straight to the North Pole via the magic red mailbox so Santa can read it and mail his response. Four-legged friends can visit Santa Paws to ask for new chew toys.

Holiday in the Park

Saturday, December 7th, 10 am to 4 pm

Head downtown to the historic Market Square Park where Pop Shop America will be hosting its holiday market. Sip on mimosas while perusing the locally designed goods and curated vintage wares. Be sure to visit the DIY crafting stations for unique gifts and on-site photo booth for a merry souvenir.

Czech Christmas Market

Saturday, December 7th, 2 pm to 6 pm

St. Nicholas will be visiting The Czech Center Museum Houston during its annual market. Learn about Czech Christmas traditions at the activity booths, sample holiday treats, and shop the Prague International Gift Shoppe for gifts and Christmas decorations.

Heights Holiday Mercantile Market

Saturday, December 14th, 10 am to 5 pm

This year-round shopping destination welcomes local crafters, bakers, and makers to set up shop along the promenade during their annual holiday market. Shop everything from original artworks to homemade beard oil before feasting at one of the resident restaurants. Santa will be in attendance at this kid and pet-friendly event.

Happy Shopping!
