Since 1923, Miller Outdoor Theatre has been delighting Houstonians with its tremendous lineup that offers something for everyone, from Latin beats to Shakespeare. Plus performances are always free! Here are a few highlights I’m looking forward to this season.
May 20-21: Houston Grand Opera presents Romeo and Juliet, the classic story of star-crossed lovers with a soaring score and heartbreaking duets.
June 4: 33rd Annual Accordion Kings & Queens performance featuring Las Fenix and Cameron Dupuy & the Cajun Troubadours.
June 10: Open Dance Project performs Wonka!, their interpretation of the Roald Dahl favorite, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
July 28-August 6: Houston Shakespeare Festival brings King Lear and Cymbeline to the stage.
See you on the hill!
