Pose with the Peanuts Gang

Head downtown for a photo op with Charlie Brown, Linus, Lucy, Sally, Snoopy, and Woodstock too! Fulbright Tower (1301 McKinney Street) is now home to a Peanuts-themed mural created by Brazil-based artist Eli Sudbrack. The public art initiative is part of the Peanuts Global Arts Collective featuring the crew from the beloved comic strip created by Charles Schulz. In fact, plenty of parents and grandparents will want to strike a pose with the Peanuts gang as many generations have fond memories of the Great Pumpkin and the catchy theme song! The Acre at Allen Center downtown (1200 Smith Street) also has a Peanuts mural, as well as Space Center Houston

For a downtown outing, I suggest pairing your photo shoot with an evening picnic at Discovery Green with prepared goodies from nearby Phoenicia. Don’t forget the baklava! If you prefer to stay cool, head to Finn Hall, a food hall with dining options including burgers, Tex-Mex, spicy Chinese, Vietnamese, and seafood.

Have fun,

Kathlyn
