Crawfish Season!

Spring has sprung in Houston, which means it’s time for taking bluebonnet pictures, dining al fresco, and eating your weight in crawfish! Here are some of the city’s best spots boiling up spicy mudbugs.

Atchafalaya Crawfish: A fresh shipment of Louisiana crawfish arrives daily ready to hit the pot of traditional cajun spices at this seasonal Pearland pop-up where customers can also order live crawfish for their own backyard boil.

Boil House: At this Heights’ neighborhood favorite, you can drive-thru for a traditional boil platter of crawfish, corn, and potatoes.

Cock-A-Doodle Crawfish: Catch this women-owned food truck on the weekends in front of Walking Stick Brewing Co. boiling up crawfish and other tasty crustaceans.

Crawfish Cafe: If you’re looking for less spicy options, try the garlic butter or coco loco (coconut, garlic, and citrus) sauce on the menu at this Asiatown seafood restaurant.

Eat up y’all!
